Our headquarters has suffered a catastrophic power failure that also knocked out the backup power so we are currently unable to update TheDenverChannel.com. There is no estimate for fixing this but rest assured we have many people working on it at this time.

Do you realize that to camp in Colorado campground with a reservation you must have a credit card? Also that you cannot use American Express. I called the St. Varain St. Park and was told That I could drive down there and if there was an open spot I could camp for two days but if someone with a credit card wanted to reserve the spot I was in I would have to leave. In my opinion in this day and age of Identity theft and high gas prices a credit card is not a good investment and driving from park to park to find a camping spot is not worth it. It would seem that those of us not useing credit cards should not have to pay taxes to support campgrounds we cannoy use. Tom Allen Johnstown, CO.
